BIGFOOT: Possible Tracks Found South Of Minden, Nevada Near Ebbetts Pass

A man who lives in Minden, Nevada shared some photos and his observations of possible tracks he found near the Ebbetts Pass area, just across the California border. Some details of the exact location have been withheld as he plans on returning for more exploration. Here's what he shared:

Hi, you told me to keep you updated if I came across any signs of Bigfoot in the Ebbetts Pass area when you responded to my comment with the Woodfords sighting. Went hiking near Ebbetts Pass today April 1 2013 with my two young kids when we came across two separate Sasquatch prints. We went as far as we could till the road was blocked with two signs saying road closed. We turned around and parked just maybe 25 yards or so on the right hand side westbound off on a dirt road that went back 25 yards until there was a patch of snow.

We went over to XXXXXXX Creek to take a look as we were going to go up the canyon following the creek but saw an rock arch up on a peak with my binocular and decided to head there which was off to the left of the creek. Shortly heading up we came upon a patch of snow and saw the first large print in the snow. The snow was hard so the impression wasn't that deep but with a fresh dusting of snow, the print really stood out(without tape measure I was figuring the print to be at least 16 inches long and 7 inches wide). Unfortunately my little boy lost his balance and slid into the track and destroying it before I could get my measuring tape and camera out. The track was headed in the direction we were going, up the mountain.


When we got 2/3 of the way up this very steep mountainside, we found the second print in moist soil under the large pines. The print was going toward XXXXXXX Creek. My little girl was holding the tape measure for me while I took the photo. Where she is holding the tape measure would be the back of the heel and with the tip of the measure two inches away from the toes as she moved the tape measure towards her just as I was taking the photo. The size of the print is 17 inches long and almost 7 inches wide. If you look about three inches below the 13 inch mark, you should be able to see a dropping from a deer as there were a few of them. So it appears the Sasquatch was following a deer trail towards the creek. Just a few feet west of the foot print was the clearing to where you can see the rock arch in the photo.

We hiked up to the arch afterwards and went through the arch which was pretty awesome as it was like a little hidden fortress. In the back of that little fortress against the rock cliff was a tall narrow cave as we couldn't get to it, too risky. I took a photo of the arch looking through down to where we saw the footprint in the trees which you can see in the bottom of the photo. We named the arch Bigfoot Arch as it does look like a foot print. I had no idea that this rock arch was there as you can't see it from the road due to the tall trees. Also there is no trail anywhere in sight as we picked are way through the brush.

There were Sasquatch prints on an old dirt road found back in 2005 in April by some mountain bikers in a canyon just east(1/2 a mile) from where we were just across from Silver Mountain City(old mining town from the 1800s). I'd hike that same canyon last week but didn't come across any signs of Sasquatch. I felt this was a great time to go searching for Sasquatch foot prints being that there is no one back on Hwy 4 due to it being closed. Today I didn't see a single vehicle all the way from Markleeville as we had the whole area to ourselves. I'm guessing we were probably several miles from the deer hunter sighting from last September off of Wolf Creek Road which is in the BFRO database.

In a follow-up email, he added:

Hi, I gave you the wrong date with the mountain bikers aho saw some track neaby by where we were. It was the year 2000, not 2005. The report number is 802 on the BFRO. The 2005 report was a man and woman hiking just over the mountain from where we were above Blue Lakes with the man seeing some tracks. I wish I had some casting material as I'm pretty new to actually looking for Bigfoot. I've always believed sasquatch existed due to the Patterson film but never gave it much thought to actually look for Bigfoot on my many backpacking trips in the trinities where I like to backpack since I was a young man. What got me interested in Bigfoot was hearing the writer who wrote Missing 411 talking on a radio show. I ordered his books Missing 411 along with The Hoopa Project which drove me to actually put my full attention looking for Sasquatch signs like today which panned out.

.... Right now all the deer are hanging out on the west side of 395 in big herds. I would suspect Bigfoot hanging out in the mountain peaks above, as there was a deer kill along a creek that heads west over to Monitor Pass and beyond to where I was hiking today.

I appreciate this gentleman for sharing his observations with us. I would like to note that I find him to be very credible. He works for a state agency and this is why his identity is being withheld.

FEELING SQUATCHY?

I just wanted to take the time to thank those who have purchased merchandise from the STBR Shop on CafePress. I haven't check on the shop in quite a while, because honestly, it's averaged about one sale a year. It was just a little project I started and had fun with, thinking up a few designs. I'm no pro. I was just having fun on MS Paint. I actually did the STBR logo on Paint with my finger and the track pad on my laptop. I was just doodling around. It's not great, but it's mine.

Sales numbers aren't going to get a thermal imager anytime soon, but for me, I'm just completely jazzed that there are folks out there sporting Sierra Tahoe Bigfoot Research gear. World's Rarest Gorilla Makes Camera-Trap Debut

(Rob Muir, REUTERS)They wandered into camera range deep in the jungle of Cameroon's Kagwene Gorilla Sanctuary. The Cross River gorilla is the world's rarest. No more than 300 are believed to exist in the wild. The species has been decimated by habitat destruction, their range taken over by farms and natural resource exploitation. For the Wildlife Conservation Society, whose researchers installed the camera trap in February, the images were an unexpected but thrilling surprise. The troop appears healthy, although one of their number is missing a right hand, evidence, say the WCS, of the presence of snares within the family group's range in the past. The conservation group hopes its footage will draw global attention to the gorilla's vulnerability and spark efforts to help it survive.



Notice their apprehension as they approach the camera trap. This is in a Gorilla sanctuary, where they are known to live. This is the first footage that has been taken of the Cross River Gorilla. See the parallels?

Sasquatch: Convict Lake Bigfoot Sightings?

I have noticed a couple searches on the web regarding "Convict Lake Bigfoot Sightings."

This makes me think that maybe someone has had a sighting there, and is researching what they have seen, or they've heard about someone having a sighting there.

I have been to Convict several times. The picture above is one that I took while fishing on a boat at Convict with my kids back in 2007. I've heard several reports from that area, but not at Convict itself. Convict Lake has a rather popular resort with cabins, a campground, restaurant and store, about 3 miles off highway 395. Just east of Yosemite National Park. I'd think that squatches would avoid that area in the day. At night when the guests are sleeping, I think they may venture into the area to raid numerous trash receptacles. Also there was a small heard of deer, I'd estimate at about 20, just out my cabin door one night. I also saw a lone buck on the shoreline in the daytime while we were trolling for trout from the boat, that same day I took the aforesaid picture. Long story short: It is prime sasquatch habitat.

When I'm Not Squatching.......

Over the past couple months, I've had a few inquiries from readers, as to what my actual profession is.

Well, I am self employed. For many of us, the economy has hit us all hard. My main source of income over the past few years has been currency trading in the Forex market. For those of you who were interested, you can see some of what I do on my Forex blog, FXTradePros.com. On my Forex blog, I like helping new traders in learning the basics of Forex trading, and also learn my style of trading. Yesterday, I posted a potential trade to watch for. Now, I've just finished uploading a video review of how the trade worked out.(See Video Below) Boring stuff for the squatch crowd, but I have fun with it. Actually, it is my Forex blog, that enabled me to begin blogging on sasquatch.

If you must know.... Yes, this is posed, not candid, of me and my two screens I use for trading. Now I use it more for squatching. Researching on one screen, and scouting GoogleEarth on the other.

Other projects I'm involved in, is consulting on "small scale" merger and acquisitions. Assist companies in going public, to raise funds for their businesses. I also have a group of investment bankers I work with, who can raise working capital for smaller publicly traded companies. As you can imagine, the banking and economic crisis has really slowed things down to a crawl, so it gives me time to pursue my squatchy aspirations.

Sometime last summer, I was surfing the net for squatch stuff, and I came across Cliff Barackman's blog. His setup reminded me of my Forex blog. I spent a few hours reading Cliff's blog, and thinking how cool this guy was! I like to fish, scuba dive, golf, but it was reading Cliff's stuff, that made me aware that maybe I can get involved in squatching somehow too. I then thought... "Hmmmmm, maybe I can start blogging on bigfoot, in and around where I live." My first intention was to only blog about bigfoot. Being that I'm generally a big chicken, I never intended to go out into the field. You can read more about why by CLICKING HERE. Since starting this blog, my illicit fear of seeing a bigfoot, has turned into a grand desire.

If you told me a couple years ago, that I'd be doing this? I would have not believed it. BUT, here I am......

Sasquatch Field Trips, Again Hampered by Snow

A storm rolls in from the west, over the Tahoe National Forest
This winter has been ridiculously long here. We've got another storm hitting this end of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The area I've been wanting to hike is between 5600 feet, up to a ridge at 7200 feet. Besides the several inches of snow that has already fallen this week, the forecast now calls for occasional 100 mph wind gusts on the mountain ridges, with 1-2 feet of new snow in the higher elevations for Easter Sunday, with more snow on Monday. If it sounds like I'm whining, well I am! Generally I believe, "There is no "whining" in squatching!" But... COME ON!!!!! ENOUGH ALREADY!

Safety is always first priority for me, when trekking out into the field. I don't want to leave my kids fatherless, over something stupid, ie. being reckless, falling through the snow, snapping a leg or ankle, and getting stranded. This is what we started to run into, with the snow on our last trip out. (CLICK HERE for more) So, now I am sitting here at my desk, honing my discipline, and working on patience. I will admit, "It's becoming quite monotonous."

Going over the area's sighting report history, I find very little occurring during the winter months. Most of the winter activity seems to be occurring on the western side of the Sierras, at elevations below 4500 feet. It would make sense that a majority of the Squatches would move toward the warmer, more comfortable climate, found on the Pacific side of the Sierras. Obviously, there is plenty of food sources for them on that side, as evidenced in the video below, taken by Jaime Avalos, on the eastern side of the Sierras, just a couple of weeks ago.

I do believe that there maybe some squatches, hanging around the eastern Sierras in the winter months also. There's deer, bighorn sheep, rabbit, raccoon, coyotes, marmot and squirrels, as some possible sources of protein. As for plant matter, I'm sure they can scavenge for the same food sources that the deer are able to find this time of year.

I think the lack of sighting reports, throughout the winter, is due to the lack of people, traveling through these areas because of the weather. Less people=lesser chances of sightings. Most minor roads through the Sierras are closed, because of snow in the winter months. Only a handful of people go to these areas to snow mobile, snow shoe, or cross country ski. Even then, most human activities in the high Sierras, are concentrated around the ski resorts, where the roads are kept clear. I think we can all agree that our sasquatch brethren are avoiding these areas like the plague. With 36 million Californians, in close proximity of the Sierra ski resorts, you can imagine how crowded they can be. Even in this bad economy.

I'd like to make it over to the western side, but I just don't have the time or resources to get out that way. So, for now, I will continue to stick to my plan, and areas of concentration on the eastern side of the Sierras.

Sasquatch: The Squaw Lake Saga

Last week, I wrote about the USFS closing of Squaw Lake, near Powers, Oregon, and the possible reason being that a hostile, territorial Sasquatch, maybe the reason why. Many of you, I'm sure, have been following the story on the Bigfoot Ballyhoo blog. If you haven't kept up on the Squaw Lake Saga..... go to Bigfoot Ballyhoo, and start reading the posts, starting on January 25, starting with Dale Saxton's post. He is one of the exploration party, that went to Squaw Lake. That will bring you up to speed. Linda Perry has done a great job, letting people of varying opinions, voice their thoughts.

Someone going by, "Anonymous," left the following comment for me:

After catching myself up on the past few days of banter, I can tell you that I'm basically at a loss for words. Honestly, I'm emotionally exhausted. I appreciate that someone wants to hear what I have to say on the events, and Mr. Paulides statements on Linda's blog. I'd like to make it clear that I'm new to this arena. I'm just a Sasquatch enthusiast with a blog, who aspires to get up off the couch, and get out in the field to do some of my own research. Mr. Paulides has years of experience in Bigfooting, and has happened to write a couple of well respected books on the subject. I think many of his peers respect his work, as he is usually invited to speak at many "Squatchy" type gatherings, symposiums, etc. This includes the upcoming Oregon Bigfoot Symposium in June. I didn't see his comments as "pushing" his books. Honestly, in the Bigfoot genre, they are a couple of the more widely read books, from what I understand. I, have not read them. I haven't read any Bigfoot/Sasquatch books. The Internet has fed me all I've had time to read, for now.

When Mr. Paulides mentioned examples from his books, I didn't take it that he was publicizing his books. I took it that he was referring to them because they are well known, Squatch related books. I have a couple t-shirts I designed for fun, on my blog. Does that make me a t-shirt pusher? I'm not taking a swipe at you "Anonymous." I'm just trying to put it in to perspective. Obviously his comments, "Maybe there is no study taking place, maybe they are going in to bring out a body?" and "It would appear that they are going out to kill it, thus the dogs and the tracker." drew out a lot of emotion. Mr. Paulides is all about preserving the species, and may have said that too out of fear of what might happen out there. I happen to agree with Mr. Paulides remark, that with a dog and a professional tracker, it does sound like a hunting party. BUT..... I have been reading Dale's posts since I've been regularly visiting Bigfoot Ballyhoo, and I don't think he'd have anything to do with the killing of a Bigfoot. He seems just as concerned for the Squatch's well being, as I or Mr. Paulides.

Let us remember the forum in which Mr. Paulides made these comments. Bigfoot Ballyhoo is basically an open forum in which Linda encourages "Bigfoot" discussion. Now if it were I, or Anonymous voicing our opinions in such a way, I don't think it would have elicited as much anger, as it did with Mr. Paulides, because of who he is. Again, he voiced his opinion in an open discussion forum. So as far as his comments being irresponsible? I don't think so, not in this forum, where many of us have voiced our opinions, negative, or otherwise.

It is unfortunate however, that the guy from the Redding rag had to over-sensationalize the story, and PETA had to get involved so they could get more press. I'm glad, if arrests were made in the PETA incident.

As I finish up writing this, I briefly hopped over to Bigfoot Ballyhoo to see if there has been an update from Dale Saxton on the matter. His daughter just posted that Dale is in the hospital with pneumonia. She's saddened by the inferences, that her dad would want to trap or kill a Sasquatch, as he's devoted much of his life to protecting them. CLICK HERE to read more about what was found.

OREGON: There's A Lot Going On Up There!

I know it is out of my area of concentration, but Oregon, our neighbor to the north, has been a busy place of late, as far as Bigfoot sightings go. I will admit, that I am a "Sasquatch Junkie!" I'm addicted to reading sighting reports. For me, hearing other peoples' "first hand" experiences, are always exciting. In a way, I think I'm living vicariously though them, for that brief amount of time, where they encounter a Sasquatch. Also, I try and absorb as much as I can from the reports, for anything that might help me out in the future, while out in the field.

Linda Newton-Perry (Bigfoot Ballyhoo), has done a great job, in urging witnesses to share their experiences. Linda writes a weekly, Bigfoot related column, for the Douglas County News. Linda and her Husband, also have written 3 Children's books on Bigfoot, as well as maintain a children's Bigfoot website, Bigfoot Fancy 4 Kids. Through her efforts, she wants to make talking about Bigfoot, commonplace. Let's face it. Most of us know they're out there, but the mainstream find us a bit nuts. Linda is trying to change that.

Many recent sightings reported on Linda's site, have been occurring in western Oregon. Especially in an area just southeast of Coos Bay. One area in particular, Squaw Lake, has garnered much attention. So much so, that the U.S. Forest service has closed it down. Reports have come in, about a more "hostile" acting Bigfoot, that has been encountered around Squaw Lake. This past summer, the visitor information sign at the lake, had been destroyed, and a few steel trash cans were smashed and thrown some 60 plus feet out into the lake. A few sources have corroborated that there are researchers, sent by the USFS to Squaw Lake, investigating that which has been reported in the area. One of the other hot topics on Bigfoot Ballyhoo, has been the incidents of people reporting sightings to law enforcement agencies. Most sightings occur while people are driving. Some of these people have come forward, to explain how they were treated as lunatics by the authorities, ultimately having their driver's licenses suspended until they can be cleared through a state appointed Psychiatrist/Psychologist. Also, law enforcement officers have reported, being suspended on paid leave until they can clear a psych evaluation, after they too have reported sightings. It sounds like state authorities are either in total denial, incredibly ignorant, or trying to hide something. Doesn't it?

Squatching Ethics, and Bigfoot Rights (Cont'd)

Before reading Ms. Williams' 5 part series, I'd been thinking... Actually, more like daydreaming about the perfect scenario, in my mind, about what I think would be "ideal proof." Proof, that would satisfy a majority of the scientific community, and a majority of the general public. Proof, without blood, or a capture.

I see a Goodall/Fossey-esk type interaction, recorded in clear video, mostly in daylight, over a few days or weeks. Footage showing the first contact, building trust, sharing gifts and/or food. Becoming accepted. All the while, collecting samples for DNA testing.

Autumn touched on this same "Proof" scenario in Part Five of her series. For me, the most important subject of all, is what to do with the new found evidence? What would the consequences be?

Squatching Ethics

My first thought is, for most researchers, proving the existence of Bigfoot is predominately egotistical. Without getting into a deep theological debate, besides proving the existence of Extraterrestrials, proof of the existence of Bigfoot, would be the most earth shaking scientific revelation, in the era of modern man. I'll admit, I sometimes think about what it would be like, to be the person who proves the existence of Bigfoot. My first thought is how proud my kids would be of me. Let's face it, my name would be immortalized, but to what end? Herein lies the dilemma. What would the discovery, and publicity, do to the Sasquatch?

What happens to almost every species of rare animal? My first thought, is they are usually hunted to extinction. Do a web search for "Dian Fossey Photos," or watch the movie, Gorillas in the Mist. You will see some extremely gruesome examples of what happened to the mountain gorilla. Every sicko trophy collector, from around the world, would come out of the woodwork, to get a literal "piece" of the Sasquatch. They would pay obscene amounts of money for Bigfoot trinkets, to put on their mantle.

Besides trophy hunters, every scientist, wannabe primatologist, and everyday yahoo (such as myself), would descend on the wilds of North America to catch a glimpse of the new found species. Paparazzi and TV producers will all want a piece of the action, because the world will be hungry for anything and everything Sasquatch. We are over populating the earth as it is, and encroaching on the wilds of the world by hundreds of thousands of acres a day. Can you imagine the thousands of "humans" that would be invading the Sasquatches habitat, on a daily basis? Sure, some sort of legislation could eventually be passed, laws to protect Bigfoot. Will it be in time? Obviously, wildlife poaching is a problem around the world. Laws don't stop poachers, they only slow them down a bit.

So, after my "warm and toasty" dissertation, on the evils of revealing Sasquatch to the world, would I actually release the evidence? I'd like to say, "No!" but I'm human. Would my ego, overpower my desire to be loyal to the overall well being of Sasquatch? I'd like to think so. Would optimism in the human race, transcend my fears, and have me believe that revealing Bigfoot to the world, would do more good, than harm? I'm sure I'll never have the need to make this decision, but I can't say that I don't want to either. Or, do I?

Something to think about if you're an active Squatcher.

Squatching Ethics, and Bigfoot Rights

Recently, Autumn Williams of OregonBigfoot.com, wrote a 5 part series entitled, "Bigfoot Discovery," which can be found on her Blog (click here). The articles cover such subjects as, "To prove, given the chance, or not to prove? What, ultimately, would constitute proof? What would a “proof” scenario look like? "To kill or not to kill?" and it's ramifications." Let us remember that Ms. Williams has 20 plus years of Bigfoot research behind her. I'm sure most of you are familiar with her work. If not, after you do some searching around, you will see that she is probably the most respected woman, if not person, in the field of Bigfoot Research. She's also produced and directed this documentary:

The point I'm trying to make is that, of anyone, Ms. Williams' devotion and experience, with anything "Sasquatch," makes her highly qualified to comment on such critical issues, regarding Bigfoot research and discovery.

For the aspiring researcher, such as myself, these articles touch upon the most critical subjects we must think about, before we ever venture out into Sasquatches' world, armed with technology, or lead, or both.

VIDEO: Possible Sierra Sasquatch Monsterquest Episode?

I'm very excited about this!

Bigfoot researcher, Jaime Avalos, recently posted an interview with a vacationing couple from the U.K. who helped attain some ariel footage for a possible Monsterquest episode, that Jaime referred to as "Sierra Sasquatch." I'm not in touch with Mr. Avalos directly, but will keep you up to date when I hear, or see anymore updates on the possible Monsterquest episode. I'm sure Mr. Avalos will follow up with more details soon.

Stories told by the Paiute Indians, Encounters with Bigfoot and the Nevada Cave Giants

I found this to be a fascinating article (click here), telling of some of the Paiute's stories of the Pahi-zoho, Bigfoot. In it, it also describes a confrontation between the Paiute, and the Pahi-zoho (also known by another name, See-te-cah). Very compelling stuff!

Similar recounts, and photos of skeletal remains of the "Red headed Giants" or "Nevada Cave Giants" can be found by simply doing a Google search. Here's one of the better articles on the Cave Giants (click here). The first article tells of the Giants, as if they are one in the same with the red haired Bigfoot. Other articles tell of the cave Giants as having red hair and light skin, and link them to the Vikings. Reported specimens up to 12 feet tall. Compare the two stories, and see if you think they are related.

My McKenzie River Experience, Oregon 1994

I've always had a fascination with Bigfoot, UFOs, Nessie, Mothman, etc. growing up on the Jersey shore, in the mid 70s. I remember reading such Cryptozooligical stories in my SRA reading books in the 3rd and 4th grades.

Fast forward to Eugene, Oregon, 1994. I lived there working on a project to investigate some potential mining properties on the Oregon Coast, near the town of Alsea. I had a 4x4 sport utility vehicle, which was rental by the way, and drove that thing everywhere. Using only a AAA Oregon map, I traversed many a mountain road, fire roads, logging roads, BLM roads etc. Being an avid fisherman, living in this outdoorsman's paradise for a few months, I took full advantage of my spare time, and explored along rivers and lakes for potential places to throw out the fishing line.

Now, let's remember, this is a time before Internet, and all the Squatch information, sighting reports, etc. that we have available today. I'd seen a few Bigfoot documentaries, and talked to some people about Bigfoot sightings in the area, but never really got anything intriguing. I would have loved to believe, 100% at that time, that Bigfoot was a real being, but in the back of my mind, Sasquatch was only legend. This explains my ability to drive, alone, to the wee corners of Oregon, in some very desolate country, to do my outdoor exploring. Looking for my next fishing hole. If I had strongly believed at the time, that Bigfoot exists, I wouldn't have strayed far. Trust me. Growing up in a house with 4, much older brothers, who scared me all the time, and talked of the bogeyman, and how they would send him to get me, had me sleeping with my parents till I was 9! Had to sleep with a light on till I was a teenager! I am truly a big chicken! If I had any strong feelings of the realities of Bigfoot, I would not have been so bold and gone to the places I did while I lived in Oregon.

One day, I think in late summer, I had gone up the McKenzie River, past the town of Vida, and the McKenzie Bridge, to an area people had said was good to find a little spot to catch some planter Rainbows. I found an area a mile or two from any homes, with forest all around, with room to park off the side of the road. I saw a worn path, down to the edge of the river. It was a steep trail down, about 50 yards to the bottom. There was a huge rock formation sticking out into the river, on my right. So I headed that way to check out the water. There was a deep pool, only about 12 feet across. Below the rocks that formed the pool, there were log jams and debris filling a cove just to the left of my little pool. In the pool, I could see the little keeper sized trout, rising and falling in the current which swirled around the pool. Now this area, is only a couple miles from town. It isn't terribly remote, but it is backed right up to wilderness area.

I had fished this location a few times. So, I am not exactly sure when, I had my experiences, or even recollect how many times it happened. I just remember it was more than once. The things that happened at the time, did not make me think "Bigfoot." Only now, after researching and reading more, I believe I may have had a hairy friend or two watching me.

There were several occasions, I just had that erie feeling that I was being watched. The thought of a mountain lion had crossed my mind, and I was a little spooked. I know of at least 2 occasions, where I heard some crashing noises in the trees across the river, preceded or followed by the smell of skunk, but with more of an acidic, or urine type smell. I just thought at the time, that it was probably a deer or an elk's antlers pushing through tree branches, and the smell was maybe a skunk that lived in the area. I attributed the different "skunk" odor to thinking that it was maybe a different species of skunk, or the smell was different because of geographic reasons, compared to the skunks I was used to in Southern California (where I lived at the time). I also remember hearing some knocking noises, knocking on wood, but nothing extremely loud. I attributed that to other people maybe being in the area. Rafters and drift boats would pass once in a while on this section of the river, so I always assumed other people were around. I never experienced rock throwing, or any unusual animal noises. I only know something was around me.

Knowing what I know now, about the smells associated with Bigfoot sightings, and the loud crashing of sticks and branches breaking, I think there was the distinct possibility that there may have been a Bigfoot near. After reading about some other sightings in the area, mentioning the proximity to the McKenzie Bridge, my theory is not far off base.

Now, not only from my experiences in Oregon, but from my new found interest in Bigfoot Research, I really believe now. Monsterquest and BFRO reports, have really made me not only believe, but I feel as though I "know" Bigfoot is real. Some of what makes me think this, is the more recent studies performed on the Patterson-Gimlin film, the work of Dr. Jeff Meldrum, and comments made by Dr. Jane Goodall. That pretty much seals the deal for me!

Now, I've become very interested in the sighting reports in and around the Tahoe area. I live in Reno, and I have become an avid reader of the reports from around this part of the Sierras. It is my intention, to start doing my own research, interviews, field exploration and study. As I said before, I am a huge chicken, but I think the rewards, of experiencing this being, first hand, would be remarkable.
