Sierra Tahoe Bigfoot Research

This site is dedicated to the research of bigfoot, and it's habitat, in the Tahoe and outlying Sierra region of Nevada and California. We listen to witnesses who want to talk about their experiences, and keep them confidential unless otherwise requested. Our mission is to learn as much as we can about the possible existence of the sasquatch, in the hope that we can all gather a better knowledge of the species, then ultimately, we as a race understand that it's habitat, and way of life, must be protected.

BIGFOOT: Fishermen Hear Possible Vocalizations at Collins Lake, CA

I received a report from Lenny Green about possible vocalizations him and his son heard while fishing at Collins Lake, which is on the Northwest side of the Sierra Nevadas, near the town of Grass Valley, CA. I apologize that I haven't had a chance to post this sooner as it happened at the end of June. He gave me his permission to pass this on to my readers. Here's what he wrote:

"Hi ...

My son and I went fishing a couple of weeks ago at Collins Lake, which is between Grass Valley and Gridley, CA.
We were on the east side of the lake at 8am on a Wednesday morning and there were few on the lake.
We heard what I now know was an almost duplicate of the 1973 Puyallup, Wa scream.
It occurred about four times ... maybe five if we missed the first one. It was quite distant from us... I would have to
estimate far over the ridge ... maybe 1 1/2 to 2 miles away ... sounded to us as if it were coming from the east of Collins Lake.

Wasn’t sure if this is an area you work or not.

Good luck ...

Lenny Green"

For those of you who aren't familiar with Lenny Green, he is an avid bigfooter, and musician who has written multiple songs on the subject of bigfoot. I hope he doesn't mind me saying that he reminds me of Johnny Cash blended with a little Burl Ives. Go to his website to her his, good ole fashion, red blooded American style of music!

My buddy Woodrat doesn't listen to music. The only thing I've heard him listen to is Lenny's CD, which is the only CD he keeps in his truck. Please visit Lenny's site, and support him and his great music.

Thanks again for the report Mr. Green!
