I've posted a new video above, of a trip we made out into the mountains yesterday. I will post more pictures and a summary of our day, hopefully soon.
Seems like we never have enough time in the day........
In the meantime, here's the description I posted about it on YouTube:
"Returned to an area that we visited last month when there was a break in the extended winter weather we've been having. This area received freezing rain and snow the previous 2 days, but today was 20 degrees warmer and sunny. I wanted to take advantage of the soft ground to look for prints. We did find a couple interesting prints, in a trackway we were able to follow for about 30 yards before the ground conditions changed into the harder, pine needle covered stuff. After making our way about 3 miles, and a gain of about 1500 feet in elevation, we ran into deep wet snow at about 6600ft. Unable to stay out for nightfall, we had to make our way back down the mountain, to the car. We came to within a quarter mile of my target destination, a small meadow area with two small seasonal ponds, with a steep ridgeline to the east. Looks very squatchy to me. I've been studying this area on Google Earth all winter, so I'll be back as soon as I can free up the time."
Also, for those of you who might be interested, I'll be on Nite Callers Radio talking Bigfoot in Nevada, and the Sierras, this Sunday, April 25, 2010, at 4pm PST. See the previous blog entry below.
Sierra Tahoe Bigfoot Research
This site is dedicated to the research of bigfoot, and it's habitat, in the Tahoe and outlying Sierra region of Nevada and California. We listen to witnesses who want to talk about their experiences, and keep them confidential unless otherwise requested. Our mission is to learn as much as we can about the possible existence of the sasquatch, in the hope that we can all gather a better knowledge of the species, then ultimately, we as a race understand that it's habitat, and way of life, must be protected.

Great video quality. What type of camera do you have? I'll send my readers over to your blog, so they can get out into the country. Linda Newton-Perry at Bigfoot Ballyhoo.
Thank you Linda. Actually, I need a new video camera. The camera I'm using right now is my Olympus SP-350. It is my still camera, but I've been using the video mode on it. The video quality is pretty good. I just want a video camera with a good 40x optical zoom, just in case I have the opportunity to film a squatch!
I love reading your site and all the great sighting reports! Thanks again!
Love the video! Very interesting work too
